Why not spend Anzac weekend in Raglan? Here’s what’s going on…

1) Check out Raglan Museum’s new exhibition – Raglan and the Anzacs.
Open Tuesday April 20 to Tuesday April 27 10am to 4pm. Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6pm.
At the Raglan Museum in Wainui Road, opposite Stewart St and Union Church.

2) Bluelight Skateboard competition at the Skatepark
Sat 24 April. Age up to 16 years old. Registration at 9.30am. $5 entry fee which includes sausage sizzle, DJ and giveaways.
Watch the kids in action.

3) “Throwbacks” exhibition at Combined Artists Studios & Gallery, 11 Bankart Street, Raglan.
ARTISTS: Jodi Collins, Emma Fletcher, Zena Elliot, Leslie Robb
DATES: 24 April — 7 May 2010
OPENING HOURS: Mon — Fri 9-3pm, Sat 11-1pm
An all female exhibition with three post-graduates from Wintec’s Media Arts Degree. Jodi Collins, Emma Fletcher, Leslie Robb, and Zena Elliot show their work together in this reflective and thought provoking commentary on how we are a product of our surroundings.

4) Karaoke at Orca
Sat 24 April. Free entry.
Sing your heart out.

5) Raglan Anzac Service
Sunday 25 April.
10.50am – parade through Bow and Wainui Roads.
11am – service at the Cenotaph.
