Anzac Day in Raglan

Raglan will mark the anniversary of the Gallipoli landings and those who served their country on Sunday, with a parade through the town and a service at the Cenotaph.

Anzac Day Remembrance Service
“Lest we forget”

10.50am
Parade will form at the corner of Bow and Wainui Roads.
This year the parade will be joined by the NZ Army’s 161st Battery from their base at Linton Camp.

11am
Service will be held at the Cenotaph.
The Hamilton Fraser High School Cadet Unit will take Guard of the Cenotaph.
All the schools will be presenting wreaths and the Navy will also be present.

After the Service everyone is welcome to enter the Raglan Club where a cup of tea or coffee will be available.
There will be poppies and donation buckets in most of the shops about town. All monies donated stays within the Raglan district and is used for the welfare of members of the Raglan Districts R.S.A..
