Coconut Yoghurt takes home gourmet award

It is safe to say that Raglan Coconut Yoghurt has taken New Zealand by storm.

Raglan Coconut Yoghurt recently entered to win one of 15 awards in the 2015 NZ Food Awards. The NZ Food Awards celebrate the very best in innovation and excellence that the Kiwi food and beverage industry has to offer. The awards ceremony was hosted last week in Auckland, with over 300 in attendance eager to find out the current cream of the crop.

Seb Walter and Tesh Randall, co-founders and owners of Raglan Coconut Yoghurt were awarded The NZ Herald BITE Gourmet Award for their innovative product. With a 40% increase in entries, the stakes were high and the competition proved tough. But the good vibes have been flowing for Seb and Tesh and they accepted the awarded whole heartedly.

“The awards were fantastic, it was a really well put together night. It was very exciting to be recognized in that way after only eight months of operation. To go from locals knocking on our door to the NZ Food Awards is kind overwhelming but really cool,” said Tesh.

Seb and Tesh would also like to thank the Raglan Community for their most recent achievement–on Monday they found out they had won the People’s Choice Award through the New Zealand Herald! Thanks to the voting and support of the a lot of Raglan locals!
