June 5th might seem like a long way off but time flies when you’re having fun. So if you’re planning on entering this year’s Artowear awards it might be time to pull out the sewing machine and get those creative juices flowing.
The 2010 categories have now been decided and coordinator Jean Carbon is urging Raglan residents to start dreaming up some incredible outfits. “We’d like the schools to get behind it and we’d love to see more businesses get involved,” she says. When it comes to design ideas Jean says the judges are looking for innovation, originality, function, workmanship, ideas appropriate to the theme, use of materials and visual impact.
