Fancy a challenge? Then sign up for the Karioi Classic – a 50km cycle around Karioi mountain. Taking place on Sunday 18th July this is not a race for the faint-hearted.
The Karioi Classic is an opportunity to feel a sense of freedom – to ride, to enjoy a landscape rich and varied – sealed and gravel roads, taking in the vistas of farmland and ocean. Whaingaroa, Te Hutewai, Ruapuke, Te Toto, Whale Bay, Manu Bay, Te Kopua – so come on and take the journey!
Be into win some awesome spot prizes including a Norco Bushpilot mountain bike donated kindly by our local bike guru Dirk from Bike2Bay. We will also be crowning the first female and male to finish as King and Queen, recycled trophies from local artist Chris Meek will be awarded on the day.
