Good week for:
Raglan surfer Alexis Poulter who has just become the first competitive surfer ever to win a prestigious Hillary Scholarship at the University of Waikato. Poulter will be studying law at Waikato while continuing to surf on the competition scene.

It’s also been a good few weeks for local equestrian Jody Hartstone. The recent recipient of the Grand Prix Kur at the Bates NZ Dressage Championships is competing at the Horse of the Year show in Hastings this week.

Bad week for:
Raglan harbour – Whaingaroa Harbour Care claim a “spate of infections” possibly caused by harmful bacteria in Raglan harbour.
