A new book is set to bring a genuine Kiwi hero back to life. Kim – The Kiwi on the König is the story of a virtually forgotten mechanic who built his own Grand Prix bike using a German outboard motor. In his first full season of racing the former motor cross rider achieved an astonishing second place in the 500cc World Grand Prix Championship.

The author Tim Hanna was responsible for the best-sellers ‘One Good Run — The legend of Burt Munro’ and ‘John Britten’.
‘Kim’ takes the reader inside the highly dangerous world of Grand Prix Racing in the 1970’s and like his other books it is an adventure page turner.

Tim will be signing books outside Vinnies during this H.O.G. *weekend, when they will be available at the special price of $40, a saving of $10.
