Friday July 22 is New Zealand’s national day of poetry, NZ Poetry Day, is a celebration of this country’s unique and vibrant poetic voice – whether it is odes, myths and legends, serious social commentary or just plain good fun… go on down the Raglan Library from 10.30am, for poetry reading. Listen to recitals or peoples’ own creations. Organised Raglan Writers Group, this is an event for anyone and everyone, so if you have a flair for poetry or just want to read your favourite poem… feel free to JOIN IN!
