Kids School Holiday Programme

School’s out, but the Old School Arts Centre is offering its usual creative, fun-filled OSCAR holiday programme led by Chris Mitchell. The programme runs from 9am — 3pm every day from Monday 12 April till Friday 16 April, but children can come for half days as well as full days.
While Chris offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for children of primary school age, each day will have its own special focus, several with an Easter theme.
– Monday and Tuesday will feature making mosaics, including a funky candle holder, with Lin from MozArt.
– Wednesday make a jewelled egg with Yann and go treasure hunting.
– Thursday includes making bead and feather Indian wear with Yann.
– Friday is all about getting into the chocolate and making some delicious treats.
Booking ahead makes it much easier for the staff to plan each day’s activities to suit the children present, but its ok just to turn up on the day. Children need to take their own snacks and meals.
