Learn fundamental Metal Smithing skills with local artist…

Local jewellery designer Lauren Haynes has begun a new series of metal smithing workshops this week in Raglan. Lauren has been a part of Raglan, coming and going for the past 18 years, and has recently made a permanent move back to the town, where she plans to bring up her daughter. Lauren has travelled all over the world learning her trade and spent some time in Holland taking part in an International Design workshop with renowned designer/artist Ruudt Peters. She has also exhibited in Belgium, and now on her return to Raglan, wants to share the things she has learnt and her ideas with other like minded artists. Below are pictures of participants in one of Lauren 2day intensive workshops, Lisa Kerrisk and Tracy Brechett, and one of their rings which was completed in the 2 days.
