The new 2012 Raglan Business Directory is out on Friday. This year we have put the Raglan Business and Residential Directories online so be sure to check out the new website: www.raglandirectory.co.nz.
If you have advertised in the RBD, you will automatically get a listing online. You will notice that a number of businesses have taken advantage of the ‘enhanced listing option’. It is still possible for businesses to upgrade to this option and provide a full discription and image for their business. There is also an opportunity for businesses to take out banner and display advertising on the new website. Please get in touch with us to discuss any of these options.
RBD Cover Design Competition
This year the winning design was by Jade Moir , Te UKu School. She came up with a thoughtful and eye catching design. We liked her interpretation of the theme, “the many faces of Raglan’, and the way she depicted the new foot bridge. We also liked her use of vibrant colour, especially to distinguish it from previous editions.
We had many other impressive designs and we have featured some of them this week. We would like to mention in particular, Joanna Tweedie for her artistic entry, Ariana Brunet for her beautiful photography design and Molly Hamilton for the original idea of taking snapshots of distinctive Raglan letterboxes.
A big thank you to all who sent in entries and to the teachers from the schools that entered the competition.
