Paradise Is Just A Paddle Away
R aglan’s best features aren’t the easiest to find.
Tucked deep within the harbour, far from the bustling summer crowds, hide secluded bays, intriguing rock formations and remote waterfalls.
For an up-close perspective of this often overlooked scenery, step aboard a guided kayak or paddleboard tour. At Raglan Watersports, we offer a range of outings to suit every ability level, from short cruises around the inner estuary, to longer trips into the very heart of the harbour. Learn about the wildlife who live amongst these waters, discover hidden waterfalls, and investigate the nooks and crannies of the pancake rocks.
Never stepped foot on a paddleboard, before? Our fully-qualified instructors will have you up and paddling in no time. And, if you’d prefer to head out on your own, we have paddleboards and kayaks available for independent hire, including a super-sized XL Ride board, which can carry up to 10 people at once.
If you’re looking for a more intense water activity, how about giving kiteboarding a go? A two-hour intro session with a qualified instructor provides a fun, safe way to get a feel for this highly-addictive sport.
And, if you’d rather check out the Raglan scenery from the saddle, we also have bikes available for hire. Route options abound: pedal your way along the scenic coast road to Te Toto Gorge; tackle the uphill trails of the Te Uku Wind Farm Pipiwharauroa Biking Trail (we promise the view from the top is worth it); or cruise the countryside surrounding Bridal Veil Falls.
You’ll find a full list of our tours and activities on our website: www.raglanwatersports.co.nz. For bookings and enquiries, give Keith and Justine a call on 07 825 0507, or email email@example.com.
We are Raglan’s first accredited watersports operator and the only paddleboarding school approved by Surfing New Zealand.
