Located at Te Uku, on the Main Road to Raglan from Hamilton, Playground Events is perfect for a fun weekend with friends, birthdays, team building as well as for business functions and events.
Playground offers Paintball, Archery and Clay target shooting. There is also a BBQ area and facilities available for use so come out with a group and make a day of it.
We are open 7 days a week 10am – 7pm bookings are preferred but not essential.

PAINTBALL
We have two paintball fields, one set in a gully of native bush and the other on a flat field. We also have a paintball alley for those that would prefer target practice.
Paintball is a sport in which players eliminate opponents by hitting them with pellets containing paint (paintballs), propelled from CO2 or compressed-gas powered paintball gun. It is fun, fast paced action.
The game that we usually play is capture the flag were two opposing teams are seeking to capture their opponents flag and return it to their starting position (base).
Paintball is $40 per person, for this you get 200 paintballs. A game lasts till all ammo runs out; extra ammo is $10 per 50 paintballs. You need suitable footwear and overalls are supplied at $5 each if needed. There is a maximum of 10 people per game.
CLAY SHOOTING
Clay target shooting is a thrilling experience, that demands a calm concentration, a keen eye and quick reactions. Anybody can do it and no experience is needed as we will be coaching you through it the whole time. Targets are thrown from a machine called a trap, the trap is a spring-loaded throwing arm.
Clay Target Shooting is $35 per person this includes 10 clay targets (birds) and 20 rounds of ammo.We use under and over double barrel Shot guns.
We also do shoots throughout the year normally on a Sunday, if interested give us an e-mail and we will be sure to invite you for our next shoot.
