Local music producer Gareth Bellamy has recently been appointed the new music director of Prana Festival 2013. Gareth brings over 20 years of international and national music experience, coupled with two album releases to the Prana management team.

Prana New Year Festival is a unique, safe family boutique festival in the grounds of Prana Eco Retreat and located at the beautiful pristine beach at Opoutere Coromandel.
This year Prana will be celebrating their 20th anniversary with a five-day, four-night event that is jam-packed with an extensive live music program over three stages and other performance venues.
Featuring over 50 national and international acts and over 100 workshops featuring, art, dance, music and craft, KidsZone, Buddhafield, yoga, circus performance, conscious cinema, social dialogue and, parades.

Music won’t be the only thing on offer though with seven food outlets, several cafes, 25 market stalls, and 25 healers in the Healers Zone.
