Sales of the ‘panorama of Raglan 2010 calendar’, at just over 300, are 50% up on sales by the same time last year. The calendar is again selling for $15, with profits going to help Friends of Wainui with their work on the Wainui Reserve.

Sales at both the Bookshop and Trade Aid are each now close to 20 a week and the Information Office is also pleased to be selling calendars which will remind many visitors of the attractions Whaingaroa has to offer.
The large 14 page calendar, with a new set of 79 photographs, has this year been printed with pages back to back, so that it’s easier to wrap in brown paper and post around the world. It includes not only iconic Raglan pictures, such as the footbridge and pohutukawas, the beaches and the harbour-mouth, but also lesser known views, such as this limestone arch and many wildlife pictures, including morepork and sea primrose.
The 2009 calendar sold out in 5 weeks and raised $1,500 for Friends of Wainui
If you’d also like to help Friends of Wainui on their work days, join them from 9am on alternate Mondays. The next work morning is Monday 14th in the bush area just south of the Harbour Care Nursery on Wainui Rd.
