Both the nearly completed BMX track and the new fitness trail were blessed in a sunset ceremony at Kopua Domain on Tuesday.
Checking out the BMX track signage afterwards were, from left, Rev Rhonda Chung who conducted the blessing; kaumatuas Paddy Kaa and Sean Ellison; Sarah Harihari, who performed a waiata; and Dirk De Ruysscher, who instigated and managed the BMX project. While the fitness trail has been up and running for a year now, crushed lime has still to be compacted on the BMX track and it will be ready for the school holidays.
Both new attractions at the domain have been financed by Kopua Holiday Park management board.
