Sober October at Orca Restaurant

Unfortunately due to an oversight on our part our liquor licence has expired. We are currently in the process of getting a new one and are unable to serve alcohol until this is issued.

We have decided to embrace this challenge, as they say, if life serves you lemons, make lemonade, so that’s what we will do, literally. We will be adding to our non alcoholic range with homemade lemonade, mocktails, fruity punch and delicious smoothies. If you are feeling healthy, want a family night out, or just need an excuse to dry out, join us for sober October. Buy any main meal plus a non alcoholic drink and you will go in the draw to win a $100 Orca voucher.

We will continue serving our light meals and brunch 7 days a week with lunchtime specials, currently featuring a whitebait fritter with Ruapuke sourdough. We now have a revamped spring menu which includes a tasting board for two, and a lamb rump dish. For evening dining we will be open Friday to Monday nights, please note we will close at 4pm on Tuesday to Thursday during our unlicensed period.

When our new licence is approved we will host a bar reopening party week with drink specials, giveaways and the draw for our $100 Orca voucher.
Until then we are pulling out all the punches (non alcoholic of course), to make our sober October an enjoyable month, and thanks for all your continued support.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
