Take a scenic drive to Ruapuke
From Whale Bay take a left at the roundabout onto Whaanga Road. This windy (unsealed) road offers spectacular coastal views. Entry to the rugged stretch of beach is off Ruapuke Road. It’s a popular surf and fishing spot but is not safe for swimming.
